Chocolate & hazelnut porridge

Ingredients

  • 350 ml milk of choice (e.g. hazelnut milk or rice milk)
  • 5 tbsp oats
  • 1 medjool date
  • 1 tsp cacao powder (or cocoa)
  • 1 tbsp protein powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp smooth hazelnut butter
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp chopped hazelnuts

Instructions

  • In a pan, heat the milk and oats on a low temperature for a few minutes until warm
  • Chop the date into small pieces, add to the mix and stir with a wooden spoon until the porridge starts to thicken
  • Add in the cacao, protein powder and hazelnut butter and cook for one minute while stirring
  • Pour the porridge into a bowl and top with sliced banana and chopped hazelnuts
