To prevent blocked pores and regulate oil production in your skin, we focus on specific foods to balance hormones. We’ll also analyse your home / work / life environment to minimise your exposure to toxins and hormone disrupting chemicals.

Gut protocol

To help reduce the size of painful spots, and to clear whiteheads, we will work on strengthening your immune system. We follow a gut protocol, as the majority of the immune system resides in the gut, to fight off bacterial infections from within.

Sleep & stress

Lastly, to ramp up the repair of damaged skin calls, we will balance your circadian rhythm to improve your sleep. Stress hormones and melatonin (the sleepy hormone) also have a knock on effect on other hormones, impacting skin sebum levels.

The cause of acne varies for everyone, so to get the best results, we need to know WHY your skin is breaking out. These three areas of health which if are imbalanced, can easily cause breakouts. These tests (included in the programme price) will guide you in the right direction, so you can eliminate the causes one by one, and see your spots go away.

Measures various hormones throughout the month to give a better picture of the variation of fluctuating hormones for women.

Fatty acid test

(1 x finger prick sample)

The balance of fats in your body, such as omega 3 and 6 can determine the amount of inflammation and skin redness.

Blood glucose

Measuring your body’s glucose response to foods you usually eat will help to determine which foods impact your skin.

KNOWLEDGE

We’ll partner for 12 weeks, and we will focus on a different nutrition or lifestyle topic each week to help clear acne. I will teach you the WHY, and guide you through with weekly emails and short videos under 15 minutes. This will help you to WANT to make changes as you will understand why they help.

MOTIVATION

To build your healthy habits, each week you’ll be set small challenges focussing on the weekly topic. You can share meal photos with the group for feedback and to inspire each other. Our goal by the end of the 12 weeks, is that you will have incorporated 12 healthy habits into your daily routine.

SUPPORT

We will meet on one-to-one video calls to discuss anything personal to you. This includes your skincare regime, supplement plan, and test results. Also every week, we will have a 45 minute group zoom call, where you can ask any questions and share your wins. 

COMMUNITY

During our 12 week journey, you’ll be a part of our Clear Confidence Community in a small Facebook group, surrounded by individuals working towards clearer skin. The group members are incredibly supportive and understanding to others, helping to keep motivation high.

My journey with skin health and nutrition began while hopelessly trying to help my younger sister suffering with eczema at a young age. I say hopelessly as I was only 13 at the time, back in the 90’s when it wasn’t as straightforward as googling the answers! From looking for mushrooms in museums which claimed to have the cure, to reading articles in newspapers about the benefits of different oils, I would read up on what I could.

Fast forward to now, and I have spent the last 14 years helping thousands of people to overcome skin issues thought to be there for a lifetime.
